# Locking or unlocking a layer

## Locking a layer

1. In the Layers panel, select the layer you want to lock. 
2. Click the Lock all icon (this will only lock the selected layer.)

## Unlocking a layer

1. In the Layers panel, select the layer you want to unlock.
2. Click the lock icon in the layer.
