Adding paint or pencil to an image

1. Make sure the layer you want to edit is selected in the Layers panel.

2. Set a Foreground color. This will be the paint color.

3. Select the Brush or Pencil tool.

4. Set the brush size and hardness in the options bar.

5. Click and drag to add paint to your image.
