Resizing your work area

To resize your work area to meet specific dimensions, you can select Image Size and manually enter width and height values.

Note: When resizing your work area, you can decrease the size of your image without loosing quality. However, if you increase the size of your image, it will become pixilated.

Always start with large high-quality images. Only decrease width and height when necessary.

  1. On the menu bar, go to Image and select Image Size.

  2. In the Image Size dialog box, enter new values in the Width and Height fields. Note: Always matain the origial aspect ratio. If the aspect ratio needs to be changed, use the Crop tool.
