# Deleting an item in your sequence

1. In the **Tool** panel, choose the **Selection Tool** (black arrow). 
2. In your **sequence**, select the clip you would like to remove. The video clip and its audio will appear highlighted.
3. Press the **Delete** key (on your keyboard).
