# Creating a Sequence

1. Go to **File** on the menu bar. Choose **New** and select **Sequence**.
2. In the New Sequence Dialog box, make sure the **Sequence Presets** tab is selected (on top.)
3. In the **Available Presets** list, expand **AVCHD**. Then select **AVCHD 1080p30**.
4. In the Sequence Name field, give your sequence a relevant name.
5. When finished, click **OK**.
