# Downloading free music to your project folder

Some websites offer free MP3 music file downloads. If you download an MP3, it needs to live in your project folder (not the Downloads folder of a lab computer.) If the MP3 does not live in your project folder, that portion portion of your project will not work.

## YouTube

1. Open Chrome and go to following URL: <https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/>
2. Browse the music library and select a track that fits your project.
3. Control-click the **download** icon (arrow) for the track. In the fly-out menu, select **Save Link As**.
4. In the Save As box, [navigate to and select](https://jjloomis.gitbooks.io/file-and-folder-management/content/navigating-folder-tree.html) your project folder.
5. Click **Save**. The MP3 will download to your project folder.
