# Saving a PSD

1. In Photoshop, go to File on the menubar and choose Save As. A Save As dialog box will appear.
2. In the Format drop-down list, choose Photoshop.
3. Navigate to and select a storage location for your project.&#x20;
4. If necessary, give your project a new name in the Save As field.&#x20;
5. When finished, click Save.
