# Downloading Media Files From YouTube to Your Project Folder

1. Go to [YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/) and find the video you want to add to your project. Copy the URL.
2. Go to [y2mate.com](https://y2mate.com/). Paste the URL of the YouTube video in the empty field. Click the **Start** button.
3. When Y2mate is done processing the YouTube video, click the **Audio** tab.&#x20;
4. Click the **Download** button next to **MP3** file format option.&#x20;
5. In the pop-up box that appears, control-click the **Download** button. Choose **Save Link As** (or **Download File As** or **Save Target As**.)
6. In the **Save As** window, navigate to and select your project folder. Click **Save** to download the MP3.&#x20;
